On the Monday following Southend City Day, the 3rd of March, All In Music were invited to the Southend Makes Music event held at the Palace Theatre hosted by @musiconsea
The band opening and representing All In Music were @apricitytheband and wow…did they leave an impression!
The performed a variety of songs, with artists like Arctic Monkeys, The Beatles and The Strokes. All coming together to make this amazing set list that complimented the dynamics of the band heavily.
The rest of the night featured amazing school choirs like Chalkwell Primary and other bands as seen from Belfairs. This all came together to really create a friendly environment and showed us that a passion for music can start at any age and talent can be found from as little as primary as we saw with many of the schools.
It was such a pleasure to be able to help out here on work experience and I met so many lovely people and witnessed some tremendous acts. It’s a great chance to see how music can make life long friends and bring people closer to each other because I know for sure at least half the crowd was singing along to ‘Sky Fall’ when a brave young lady sung it on her own and absolutely put us in a state of awe!
Overall, the night was amazing through and through. The way it gives so many young people an opportunity to perform, create core memories with their friends and most importantly have fun!
