2026 Christmas Appeal
Be there for someone in Southend this Christmas
Your gift helps young people, children and families across South East Essex find a safe place, a helping hand and a fresh start.
Christmas isn’t easy for anyone
This Christmas, help a young person leave homelessness behind and find not just a roof over their head, but a place to call home.
We offer safe homes for young people, youth work, early years support for families, wellbeing and counselling, mentoring and education. This year, nearly one million young people across the UK are not in education, employment or training. Locally, our team sees what that means every day.
Why your gift matters so much
Most of the money we receive comes with strict rules about how it can be spent. Your Christmas gift doesn't. It can go wherever it's needed most: keeping a service running when a grant ends, stepping in when a young person needs support fast, or keeping our doors open through the winter.
That flexibility is the most valuable support a local charity can have.
What your gift could do
-
£20 could fund a welcome pack for a homeless young person moving into Newlands
-
£50 could fund a mentoring session to a teenager struggling with their mental health
-
£100 could fund for an employability workshop for young people out of employment, education and training.
-
£250 could contribute towards essential repairs and upgrades in our youth housing unit.
Give monthly and help us plan ahead. Even £5 a month means we can say yes to more young people and families all year.
If you're a UK taxpayer, tick the Gift Aid box and we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give, at no cost to you.
