Who is the All In Music project for?​


Our project is designed and delivered for 11-25 year old’s from Southend-on-Sea and surrounding areas.

 

We focus on providing access to music for young people facing barriers including, but not limited to:

 

Attends Pupil Referral Unit, Economic deprivation, Excluded from school, Home educated, Homeless, Ill health, LGBTQ+, Looked after, Mental ill health, Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET), Physically disabled, Sensory impaired, Special Educational Needs, Young carer, Young offender/At risk of offending.

When and where are sessions held?​


Unless booked to deliver activity elsewhere, our music sessions are delivered from our music studio at 85 Ambleside Drive, Southend, SS1 2FY.

 

Teaching times vary, but usually consist of Mon-Fri, 11:00-19:00.

How much do sessions cost?


For those eligible, 1-to-1 and group sessions are free of charge and delivered in blocks of 12.

​

What instruments are taught/provided?


Our tutors deliver a wide range of music activity, including but not limited to:

  • Singing

  • Songwriting

  • Acoustic / Electric / Bass Guitar

  • Piano / Keyboard / Synthesizer

  • Music Production / Recording / Beat-Making

  • Drums / Percussion

Do you provide workshops/sessions for external groups and organisations?


Yes! We are able to provide musical activities and workshops in external settings. We are able to provide sessions for Youth organisations, Young Carers, SEND groups and School groups either at our studio or at their respective premises.

I placed a referral/contacted AIM a while ago, why haven’t I heard back yet?


We work with a high number of young people every week and are usually running at full capacity, meaning that there is often a waiting list. We will get in touch as soon as we have space available for you or your young person!

​

Can I book your rehearsal space/studio?


The use of our premises is reserved for project participants and is not currently available for the general public to hire.
