Let's Play

About the project

‘Let’s Play!’ is funded by the Health Inequalities Fund, in partnership with Southend Family Centres. It delivers three groups a week for neurodivergent parents (whether diagnosed or self-identified), together with their children age 0-4, as well as having a presence at community events. The aim is to create a welcoming and supportive community for neurodivergent families, where health messages can be shared and families can be enabled to better access appropriate health support at a community level.

The weekly groups are:

  • Tuesdays 1-2pm Meet at Prittlewell Square for outdoor activities such as a community walk, kite making and flying, bubbles, sandcastles on the beach, or another seasonal nature-based activity

  • Wednesdays 10-12 Sensory Play at Cambridge Road Family Centre

  • Fridays 10-12 Creative activities including music, arts and craft, at Friars Children’s Centre

  • Facebook
