We'd like to wish you a happy and healthy New Year from everyone at Southend YMCA and hope that 2019 is treating you well so far.
As the year starts we'd like to remind our followers about the opportunities on offer to support our vital work, supporting some of the most at risk children and young people in the area.
At a time where individuals want to use the new year as a means to improve themselves and start building better habits, some young people are already have a bigger step to take to get there.
Your new years resolution could help others as well as benefiting yourself.
Aiming to be more giving this year, or help others more?
Why not set up a recurring monthly payment over the next twelve months supporting children and young people experiencing hardship through no fault of their own?
Maybe you're trying to cut back on sugary treats, stop smoking or reducing the amount of coffee purchases out each week?
Put your goals (and savings) to good use and add a reason to continue your resolution by benefiting others.
For less that a cup of coffee, each month you could:
Support a Southend YMCA resident with the guidance to find employment.
Help a child take part in a new physical activity and make new friends.
Provide a mentor for a young person through a bereavement or change in the family.
Support a child being bullied at school, developing confidence and resilience.
These are just a few of the things that we could use your donation for over the next twelve months. If you can afford more than the minimum donation of £2 a month, we can do so much more.
Help us to help them and DONATE TO SOUTHEND YMCA TODAY.
Do something amazing this year.
