Back our Bus! Community support needed to continue our work.

June 6, 2018

Southend YMCA's SOS Bus has been operating in the Southeast of Essex since 2011, having provided thousands of hours of first aid support, training, education and lifesaving services in predominantly, Southend and Basildon.

For the communities and local people who have needed to access the SOS Bus, we have been the difference between trained and experienced rapid response or waiting considerable time for first aid and emergency support.

Our work has supported the emergency services, reducing their demand in many instances, alongside being a reassuring and visible presence in the local area, in particular at night in town centres and public spaces.

In order to continue and develop our work across Basildon and Southend, which relies heavily on funding to continue, we are seeking feedback and support from the communities we currently, or have served, so that we can “stand in the gap” of what’s currently available to support locals.

If you have previously used either bus, like what we do, or would like to see more from us, please complete the most relevant (location-based) survey below to give us your feedback.

It will only take a few clicks but will make a massive difference to our services.
