FIF Support and early intervention services

Kids Inspire, The Children’s Society and Southend YMCA have formed a partnership to support the emotional wellbeing needs of children, young people and their families across Essex.

The partnership, which is made up of experienced children’s mental health and youth professionals from the three organisations, formed some months ago and was successful in bidding for a grant from Essex County Council.


What can we help with?

Feeling upset or low | Anxiety | Anger management | Communication skills | Self esteem | Social isolation | Managing change | Bereavement | Behavioural issues | Coping skills | Confidence building | Substance misuse | Relationships | Family stresses and strains | Other difficulties being faced

How do we help?

Our trained, experienced and dedicated staff/volunteers will provide bespoke support to help each young person grow and develop through their difficulties. Our coaches and mentors may utilise worksheets, discussion, positive activities, art, music, video resources and other tools to help engage and support the needs of the individual.
