Southend YMCA presents 'Amplify Youth Work: Refresh Your Connections,' a one-day professional networking conference

Theme: Amplify Your Impact with Young People 

 

Conference Aims:

• To elevate the standards of youth work across Southeast Essex- Elevate the profession of youth work and emphasise the important role that youth work can play in changing lives.
• Networking and learning for the change we want to see: Improving the quality of services for young people and parents.
• Exploring the vital role of digital communication in engaging children and young people

11:10am Enhancing Youth Work: Quality Practices and Impact, The Centre for Youth Impact, YMCA George Williams College 
11:50am Workshops 

  • Create- Learn how to connect with young people through creative and positive activities

  • Compose- Learn how to connect with young people through music and spoken word

  • Connect- Learn how to connect with young people by becoming a mentor and champion in promoting wellbeing
