TEAM YP is a fantastic 20 week project designed by young people for young people aged between 11 and 25 – and best of all it's free! It is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and is inspired by the London 2012 Olympics.

Team YP allows young people to enjoy excellent experiences and opportunities which will boost confidence, encourage teamwork, harness leadership skills and gives them the chance to be active citizens.

London2012Our previous teams have enjoyed zorbing, go-karting, climbing, paintball, assault courses, Go Ape, ice skating, hiking, sailing, snowboarding, boxing training and much more. If you know any young person aged between 11 and 25 who is experiencing any sort of hardship, whether it's financial or social hardship, family issues, illness, weight problems, self-esteem or confidence issues, bullying, exclusion, or anything else - then they would meet our criteria to join Team YP.

If you are interested in taking part in Team YP, or you know someone who would, then please get in touch by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or calling 01702 608850.

The worst for this were Ross who was worried about his trainers and Bex, who managed to team her boiler suit with a pink handbag, pink and blue gloves, Ugg Boots and a black and red belt. Trust me, Gok Won would have been proud!

Anna (One of the Team YP Coordinator) then tried to get a picture for the group and after four attempts with Georgia was looking the other way, a decent group shot was taken before getting on with the games...
